Lis Mullin Bernhardt (born in 1977 in Indiana, USA)
English Trainer and Translator

I received my BA with a double major in German language and cultural studies/ political science at Northwestern University in Chicago, and afterwards went to Switzerland for a Masters in International Affairs at the University of Geneva, where I also started working for the UN. This brought me eventually to work for the UN and other well-meaning international organizations in Bonn, where I have happily lived these past 6 years.
Throughout my studies and career, I have been a private tutor for English, and I greatly enjoy working with people from varied backgrounds. When I'm not working, I like spending time with my young family and dog - preferably out-of-doors!

Aileen Ryan (born in 1980 in Cork, Ireland)
English Trainer

I’ve been living in Germany for the last 8 years and have been teaching successfully for several years. I came to Germany to broaden horizons and acquire a second language along the way. As a successful English teacher I believe it is never too late to learn something new and that fun in the classroom, as in life, is a must! My TESOL certificate from Trinity College in London helps me with that.
In my spare time I enjoy swimming and reading and take every opportunity to visit another part of the world.

Anne Wegner (born in the UK)

Ergonomic studies at the Technical College at Loughborough.

I have over twenty years of business experience in Germany, UK and Belgium. In 2003 I qualified as an English teacher, and in 2004/2005 I continued my studies in Adult Education for intercultural training at the University of Jena. After twenty years of roving about the business world I have finally found my true calling and I now realize how learning languages can also be fun. I’m especially interested in language in communication – it’s not just about what you say, it’s also how you say it!
