I’ve been in Germany since 1989 and after working in the finance / communication sector I’ve been working as an English Trainer for a number of years. I always find it an interesting challenge to get to grips with new areas of business in order to ensure a tailor-made solution – our customers are not the only ones who have homework to do! Lis Mullin Bernhardt (born in 1977 in Indiana, USA)English Trainer and Translator I received my BA with a double major in German language and cultural studies/ political science at Northwestern University in Chicago, and afterwards went to Switzerland for a Masters in International Affairs at the University of Geneva, where I also started working for the UN. This brought me eventually to work for the UN and other well-meaning international organizations in Bonn, where I have happily lived these past 6 years. Throughout my studies and career, I have been a private tutor for English, and I greatly enjoy working with people from varied backgrounds. When I'm not working, I like spending time with my young family and dog - preferably out-of-doors! |
